Le illustrazioni di Pavlín e Šeďa ci offrono una Alice dai colori sgargianti e dallo stile lineare e originale arricchito da un leggero effetto pop-up. Stilisticamente collegate alla tradizione illustrativa dell'Europa dell'est e all'estetica degli anni '70, le immagini evocano l'atmosfera degli anni in cui sono state create ma, allo stesso tempo, riescono a essere ancora molto fresche grazie alla linearità delle figure e all'accattivante tavolozza cromatica. Del tutto particolare l'interpretazione della Mock Turtle, che i due illustratori ritraggono come un maialino dal guscio di tartaruga.
